This solid sink was authentically crafted in Italy with only the highest quality blend of fireclay minerals. Fireclay is extremely durable. Fired at very high temperatures - often over 2000 degrees, the clear glaze permanently fuzes to the fireclay material. The results are a glossy, easy-to-wipe-clean surface that is extremely stained, scratch, acid, alkali and impact resistant.
